Welcome to my website. I live in Toronto and I am a philosophy professor at the University of Guelph. My book, One Hour in Paris: A True Story of Rape and Recovery (2014), draws on my personal experience to explore issues of gender inequality, violence against women, and the nature of trauma and recovery. Please follow the relevant links to read about the book. You can also find out about my life and about the work I do as a philosopher. And see News and Events, where I will be posting updates about the book as well as links to news items connected to its central themes.
Thanks for visiting.
