It has been great to see One Hour in Paris popping up on ‘best of 2014’ lists. In addition to the Globe and Mail’s best books of 2014, Kerry Clare named it as one of her 2014 Books In My Head on her blog Pickle Me This, and it is one of Room Magazine’s 14 Feminist Books of 2014. And this past weekend, the book got a shout-out in my hometown Winnipeg Free Press, in their Best of the Bunch.

I am happy and grateful that One Hour in Paris has made the shortlist for British Columbia’s National Award for Canadian Non-Fiction, and I am honoured to be in such great company.
