I am excited to announce that I have been invited to participate in the 19^th annual Wordfest in Calgary, October 14-19. The line-up for this year’s festival looks great, and I am looking forward to taking part in what is sure to be an interesting event: The Philosopher, Poet and Chief. I will be talking about trauma and recovery with Edmund Metatawabin, Iman Verjee, and Sheri-D Wilson on Friday, October 17^th at 5:30 pm at the University of Calgary’s Gallery Hall. Admission is free!

I am delighted to announce that I will be visiting my alma mater in October for a talk hosted by the University of Manitoba’s Centre for Professional & Applied Ethics. I will be discussing some of the themes of One Hour in Paris with the Centre’s distinguished director, Arthur Schafer, on Friday October 10^th, 12:30 – 1:30 pm, in the Concourse Lounge of University College (see a poster for the event here). It is a public event, so please come on out!
